2026 Henna Season

2026 brings many changes for Blue Lotus Henna!

I have sold my house and closed my beloved Henna Parlor. I am no longer officially based in Portland, though I will be visiting in the Summer (from June) and available for bookings (events, parties, bridal, outcalls and private appointments in a new, central location). I am eternally grateful to my clients for the past 20 (!) years of support! I have been so enriched by all of my interactions with my beloved clients and I will miss you all, but I also hope that I get to see you again, if not regularly. This year brings new creative ventures in Japan! I have opened a traditional style guesthouse (ryokan) in the town of Uno, Okayama prefecture, on the Seto Inland Sea. We are located a short ferry ride from the famous art islands of Naoshima & Teshima and are developing artist residencies and art workshops for local and international teachers to bring their students to.
